Direct Deposit for Student Refunds
The feature to enter your banking information is now available on the UAMS GUS student portal.
Students eligible to receive a refund as a result of a credit balance may sign up for electronic direct deposit to allow funds to post directly to a bank account. We encourage all students to take advantage of this option as it allows for money to be received faster and prevents the possibility of a check getting lost in the mail. To enroll in direct deposit, access the student portal https://gus.uams.edu and follow the link “My Finances – Account Inquiry.”
Once you are officially enrolled, you will receive a “Congratulations” message.
For additional assistance, please review the video tutorial below:
If you do not elect direct deposit, a refund check will be mailed to the address on file. Please verify or update your address on the student portal https://gus.uams.edu. If you have any questions you can contact the Bursar’s Office at 501-686-6128.
We will be transitioning information from Money Matters to GUS from Friday, June 24 through Sunday, June 27, 2016. We appreciate your patience during this time.
Starting Monday, June 28, 2016, Money Matters will no longer be available. Information regarding your student account will be available in GUS at https://gus.uams.edu/.
For security purposes, the banking information from Money Matters will not transfer over to GUS. If you are expecting a financial aid refund, be sure to enroll for direct deposit in GUS (see above).
