Waiver for the the Regulatory Sciences Graduate Certificate Program

Governor Mike Beebe and the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Hamburg signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in August 2011.  A major component of the MOU described the creation of a graduate level educational program in Regulatory Science. UAMS and FDA’s NCTR have collaborated in the development of a graduate program in Regulatory Sciences. The initial step of the program was the creation of a Graduate Certificate in Regulatory Sciences (GCRS). The GCRS includes four three-hour courses.  Classes for the GCRS began in the 2012 Fall Semester.
